Women for the American Constitution
Fostering understanding and appreciation for the founding principles
embodied in the U.S. Constitution through education and outreach.
Women for the American Constitution (WAC) was created in February 2020. The founding officers intended to create an organization that would foster knowledge of the content of the U.S. Constitution and its subsequent amendments. Knowing that for decades the Constitution has been misused, misinterpreted, misjudged, and inaccurately quoted, the founding officers saw a need for educating citizens about the U.S. Constitution, its amendments, and the authorities they grant to the federal vs. state governments.
MISSION STATEMENT: The organization’s mission is to educate, inform, and elect conservatives who support the U.S. Constitution and its amendments as the Founding Fathers intended.
EDUCATE & INFORM: We work to defend liberty by educating citizens about historical and contemporary constitutional issues that we've identified as being particularly relevant. We do this through several means, including:
